Hey, everyone. I’m a little nervous with a mixture of uncertainty and excitement to share this space with you. I just published my first post this morning, then recorded a podcast as a guest on Megan Champion’s On the Hard Days.
During the interview, Megan told me, “You are so relatable. I can picture in my mind the stories you are sharing about your family. I love your rich vocabulary.”
This was validating to me, and I told her so, because I am so unsure of myself making this switch to memoirist. The fact that I’d never met or spoken with Megan before today, yet this was her feedback, confirmed that I may be on the right track.
My next ambitious goal is to learn how to “do” a podcast. Yeah, I know everyone has one these days, and I honestly have Zero Expectations about my audience, whether it will top charts, or otherwise be labeled “successful,” but I believe it’s the next logical step on this pathway to change.
If you know how to help me out on this front, I’m grateful for whatever you can offer - advice, resources, how-to or step-by-step instructions. I’m listening. Because I seriously have no clue.
Except, I do have the name and the logo, thanks to a friend of mine - also named Megan.
