Hi Jeannie….My first thought after reading of your and Felicity’s therapy session……LOVE FINDS A WAY through our turbulent times of parenthood. Your love for Felicity allows you to let this beautiful teen have the space to grow as she needs. The aches of motherhood can hurt to the bone, as you know. You are incredibly resilient, Jeannie.

You know so well there are times we have to stay put in our feelings. Even the mucky ones.

Having a 53 year old son who has been unnecessarily hurt by our president at the pinnacle of his military career has shown me that he knows how to stay in the muck of his feelings until the next step shows itself. I feel his suffering as I did when he knew he had to break up with his first girlfriend. Motherhood goes on but what our kids learn when they are tender in age carries.

Jeannie, I believe your efforts now will work well in the future living of your kids.

You inspire me!

♥️

The "flinch", and the walls we build to guard against them. The walls we built sooooo long ago that we don't even remember, but are still there. All that. I'm reminded there is another word for Uncertainly...it's Surprise, and can be like a "Wow"! As in, I had no IDEA all of this amazing goodness was on the other side of all these walls I've been standing behind! Great work, Jeannie.
