Jeannie, as always, I am grateful for the connection we've formed over the past year or so and, on this occasion, the platform you've provided me with to share reflections. Hopefully, some of your readers can connect with my experiences :)
You are doing spectacular work, Niall, and it is an honor to feature your story. So grateful for all the wisdom you've imparted to me personally. I know your story will impact many!
I love this..."Writing became a vehicle for me to self-assess. A way of consciously measuring how aligned my choices are with my values." It's so true that writing offers us a mirror in a way nothing else (at least that I've discovered) does. Reading our own words on the page sometimes feels like they came from another author but belies what's really underneath. Thank you for sharing your own journey.
“The accumulation of your choices decides the state of your well-being.” - that resonated with me deeply. It is a saying I will use to keep me accountable.
Niall, what a lovely essay! You have been through so much, and you have the wisdom to courageously share your life experiences, and to find your way back to yourself. You are such an inspiration! Keep writing. It is good for the soul, a cliche, but true.

Thank you for affirming Niall's story, Jess! You always have incredibly insightful and compassionate comments. I appreciate you.
Thank you for introducing me to these voices. I treasure the expanding that comes from reading their stories.
That's wonderful to hear and since it's been so successful, I hope to expand the project next year to include even more authors and their stories.

Thank you both for sharing this story!
Thanks for being here, Nancy!
“We strengthen when we return to our roots and connect with our true nature.”
This is beautiful.
It reminds me of Joseph Campbell’s quote, “The privilege of a lifetime, is being who you are.”
Thank you Jeannie for bringing us Niall. 🙏
Wow, thank you for sharing that Joseph Campbell quote and connecting it to Niall's story, James! I've never heard that before, but it sounds lovely.
